  • misuse messaging, reviews, comments, calls, or other communication features

We may take action if we believe your conduct creates legal, safety, operational, or reputational risk.

6. User Content

You may be able to post, upload, publish, send, or share content on Good and Bad People, including posts, comments, photos, videos, messages, reviews, ratings, usernames, profile information, and other material.

You are responsible for the content you share.

By posting content, you confirm that:

  • you own it, or have the necessary rights and permissions to use and share it
  • it does not infringe anyone else’s rights
  • it is not unlawful, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or prohibited under our policies
  • you have permission from anyone identifiable in the content where required

7. Licence You Give Us for User Content

You keep ownership of the content you create and post.

However, by posting or sharing content on Good and Bad People, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, publish, and use that content as needed to operate, provide, improve, promote, moderate, and support the platform and its features.

This includes, for example:

  • displaying your content on the platform
  • showing your username and profile image alongside your content
  • formatting content for different devices or layouts
  • using content in feeds, recommendations, previews, and search results
  • retaining copies where reasonably necessary for backup, moderation, security, legal, or operational purposes

This licence ends within a reasonable period after your content is deleted from active public use on the platform, except where:

  • the content has been shared by others
  • retention is required for legal, security, fraud, moderation, backup, or enforcement purposes
  • the content remains visible due to the way the platform functions

8. Public Content and Visibility

Good and Bad People is a social platform. Some content and profile activity may be visible to other users or the public, depending on your settings and how you use the platform.

You understand that:

  • public posts, comments, reviews, or profile details may be visible to others
  • content shared in public groups or pages may remain accessible even after reposting or sharing by other users
  • we cannot control how other users use public information you choose to share

9. Marketplace, Products, and Purchases

If you buy, sell, promote, or interact with products or paid services on the platform:

  • prices, availability, and product details may change at any time
  • we may refuse, limit, or cancel orders where necessary
  • you must provide accurate payment and billing information
  • all payments must be authorized by you
  • refunds, returns, and purchase disputes may be subject to separate refund or marketplace terms

We may use third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal to process payments.

10. Reviews and Ratings

If you leave a review or rating, you agree that it will be:

  • based on genuine experience
  • honest and not misleading
  • respectful and not abusive
  • free from impersonation, manipulation, or fake engagement

We may remove, restrict, or moderate reviews that breach these Terms or our policies.

We are not responsible for third-party content, services, transactions, availability, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

12. Intellectual Property

  • loss caused by unauthorized account access where you failed to keep login details secure

If we are liable to you, our liability will be limited to the greater of:

  • the amount you paid us in the one month before the claim arose.

18. Indemnity

If your unlawful conduct, breach of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights causes a claim against us, you agree to be responsible for the losses, costs, or expenses we reasonably incur as a result, to the extent permitted by law.

This section should be interpreted subject to applicable consumer law and fairness requirements.
