Good and Bad People is a community-driven marketplace that helps buyers and sellers connect through the platform.

We do not sell products directly. However, we provide the tools and support needed to help users manage returns, refunds, and order-related issues more fairly and securely.

This Refund Policy explains how refund and return requests are handled on Good and Bad People.

1. Return and Refund Eligibility

Sellers on the platform are expected to follow these minimum refund standards:

  • Marketplace items: refund requests must be submitted within 2 days of delivery
  • Pro Memberships: refund requests must be submitted within 1 day of purchase

To qualify for a refund or return:

  • the item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition
  • all original tags, accessories, manuals, and packaging must be included
  • the request must be made within the applicable time period
  • the reason for the request must fall within the valid reasons listed below

2. Valid Reasons for a Refund or Return

You may request a refund or return if:

  • the item arrived damaged or defective
  • the order was incomplete or missing parts
  • you received the wrong item
  • the item does not match the listing description or photos
  • the item does not fit, where size is a relevant part of the listing

A change of mind is not a valid reason for a refund or return.

3. How to Request a Refund

Marketplace Orders

To request a refund for a marketplace order:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to My Products
  3. Open Purchased Orders
  4. Find the relevant order
  5. Select Order Status
  6. Click Request a Refund
  7. Complete and submit the return form with the required details

Pro Membership Refunds

For Pro Membership refund requests, please use the dedicated refund request page.

4. Return Shipping

Unless the seller agrees otherwise, return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service when returning items.

5. Refund Processing

If a returned item is received and the refund is approved:

  • the refund will be processed within 7 business days
  • the funds will be added to your Good and Bad People Wallet
  • it may take up to 1 billing cycle for the refund to appear, depending on the payment method or account process
  • you will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been completed

6. Final Sale Items and Exceptions

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • sale or clearance items
  • items returned in used, worn, washed, or altered condition
  • items returned without original tags, accessories, manuals, or packaging
  • refund requests submitted after the allowed time window

Please do not attach tape or labels directly to the manufacturer’s packaging. Always use protective outer packaging when returning an item.

7. Marketplace Responsibility

Good and Bad People provides the platform and return tools, but does not act as the seller for marketplace transactions.

Buyers and sellers are expected to communicate directly through the platform’s return and refund process.

Where necessary, our support team may review disputes and step in to help support a fair resolution.
