Willow flooring is a light-colored hardwood made from fast-growing willow trees (Salix species). It has a pale creamy-white to subtle yellowish tone with fine, straight grain and a soft, smooth texture that brightens rooms beautifully. However, it is one of the softest hardwoods available (Janka 500–800), making it highly prone to dents, scratches, and wear. Because of this, it is rarely sold as solid flooring and is most often found in engineered form.
