Foundations Care (Found Care) is a not-for-profit organization with more than 20 years of experience, dedicated to creating safe and supportive homes for children and young people who are unable to live with their birth families. They operate in Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia, offering a range of services including foster/kinship care, residential group homes, and youth justice support. Found Care matches children carefully with carers, respecting each child’s cultural background, and empowers carers with training, caseworker support, clinical help, and 24/7 assistance. They strongly believe in the rights of children and young people to feel safe, valued, and connected to family and community, and work in collaboration with governments, researchers, community leaders, and other organizations to achieve this. Found Care is deeply committed to child safety — they have a zero-tolerance policy toward abuse and ensure all their staff, board members, and volunteers priorities the well-being of children in every decision.
