Because of an organ donor, this is possible. Mom was released from the hospital this afternoon!! She still has to stay in Kansas City for another week to monitor kidney function (which doctors say is doing great) and fine tune meds, so we are now across the street from the hospital at the hotel.
Mom is already missing her wonderful nurses-- the newest "nursing staff" is untrained but caring for her with love! 😊
