I got Mieko on what would’ve been your 70th birthday 4 years ago and she’s named after you in a way. So I am able to celebrate both of your birthdays which helps me smile. Plus she eats her tail, sits on my lap in a highchair position, tries to bury my hair clip into the blankets, takes her food 5 miles away to eat it & picks out the bad pieces & she’s weird…so that really helps.
