History, written by the losers!?

Contrary to pseudoarcheology, Sumer was the 1st known civilization which had developed by around 4000 BCE. They created the first logographic syllabically read script. This marks the beginning of History and the end of Prehistoric times.
Sumer was eventually conquered by the Akkadians. The fall of Sumer and the demise of their culture was recorded in Sumerian first, not in Akkadian. From the beginning, history is written by a loser.

The Akkadians then ruled over Sumer and Akkad, but were eventually attacked and defeated by the Gutians. The Akkadians recorded their fall and demise, not the Gutians.
The Gutians were in power for around 100 years. They began to adopt Sumerian and Semitic culture as their own. The Neo-Sumerians would rise against them to overthrow and regain power. Gutian decline was recorded by Gutian scribes, as well as Neo-Sumerian.

The Neo-Sumerian culture rose to prominence around 2000 BCE. They would eventually fall to Amorite invaders. The fall of the Neo-Sumerian culture was recorded by the Neo-Sumerians, not by the Amorites.

The Amorites rose to prominence by around 1800 BCE as the Old Babylonian Empirek which was ruled by Hammurabi. 200 years later, they would decline in power and their capital city was sacked by the Hittites. The Amorite Babylonians recorded their downfall, not the Hittites.

Babylon was then taken over by a foreign power called the Kassites. They held power for about 400 years until they were attacked by the Elamites. The Kassites recorded their downfall, not Elam.

When people talk about history and say things like its "his" story, or that it was written by the winners, have little understanding of the subject they are discussing. It seems to be spread mostly by people who have absolutely no knowledge of history. More than 91% of the 6000 year duration of time yields records written by nations or factions that no longer exist, and thus, history is recorded by the losers.
