Dea Matrona practically have a residency in Whelans at this point (I mean, not really, but sure lookit...).
It was a pleasure to be able to catch them again, and they are emerging as a 'must see' live act. Splendid. I was totally new to support act Emily 7, and quite enjoyed the somewhere-between-emo-and-pop-punk riffage
