Valley Medical offers two programs for our Youth patients. Youths may be eligible for an appetite suppressant named Phentermine. This medication is FDA-approved for ages 16 and up. It is up to the discretion of the physician to determine eligibility for each patient. Patients will need to qualify for all appetite medications based on medical history and BMI.
